Mike Henderson - 9th Annual Ogden Climbing Festival

Mike Henderson of the Weber State University Outdoor Program joined us at Slackwater during Ogden Restaurant Week kickoff to fill us in on the details of this weekend's 9th Annual Petzl Ogden Climbing Festival presented by Osprey.

Climbers Mike Libeki and Alex Puccio begin the festivities with free keynote presentations on Friday, April 8th 7pm at the WSU Shepherd Union Building Wildcat Theater. 

Passion for adventure is contagious and the more you're exposed to the outdoor lifestyle the more it gets in your blood. Nobody knows this more than Goal Zero Ambassador Mike Libecki. He has logged over 50 expeditions, filled multiple passports with over 100 stamped pages and climbed and explored some of the most remote regions of the planet. The contagious nature of Mike's passion for adventure has now started to find a place in the heart of the next generation. Head up to the Ogden Boulder Field above Saint Joseph High School on Saturday for numerous climbing and bouldering clinics for all ages and abilities from multi-pitch transition trailing to children's clinics. 

A Citizens and Open Comp at The Front Climbing Club with pro finals begins Saturday at 2pm ending with after party shenanigans!
